I don’t know where my thing for red came from. If someone were to ask me what my favorite color is (note: I don’t have one), I would not respond with red but I like the impact and contrast it can have as a pop here and there. At one point, my phone, glasses, laptop cover, and water bottle were all red. I think it was getting a bit OCD. I don’t look good in red (I’m a summer. Actually, I have no idea what I am. Mom what am I?) but I like it as an accessory color– a lot.
Thanks to Shannon over at *Happiness*, I can’t stop thinking about these red Tom’s Vegan wrap boots. They sort of remind me of ace bandages wrapped around your legs but I used to wear ace bandages for fun so it’s perfect. But recently, I have been talking about pinching pennies during this depressing recession and the whole idea of “Do I NEED this?” which is a dumb question to ask me because of course I don’t NEED anything but food, water, and my 2 boys, yet I also “need” these boots. They are my favorite hue of RED–not too blue, not too yellow and I like wearing boots but these would be a great summer boot. Yes? Yes? as I try to make a case.
Yet, if I had $98, there are about two hundred and seventy-three things that would take precedence over the purchase of vegan red wrap boots and I am a-ok with that.
