Last night I headed down the road (literally) to the very cool train station turned restaurant/pub, Windsor Station Pub, to hear Anna Coogan play live. I’ve know Anna since we were in 7th grade. I remember when she got her first guitar in 8th grade and listened as she navigated her way around her first chords while we were in our morning free period in one of the little music rooms. It is amazing to see her now and how natural it is for her to belt out her music in front of a room of strangers. I am totally digging her new album, The Nocturnal Among Us. I love the feel and sound of Crooked Sea and Dreaming My Life Away.
It was one of those nights where everything felt aligned in life. Great music, cool atmosphere, friends, family, killer crème brûlée. All was right in the world.
